In product R&D, it closely collaborates with scientific research teams from universities such as Wuhan University of Technology. For example, in the R&D of the prototype of the water-saving ship lock valve quick hoist for the Guangxi Pinglu Canal, it successfully turned the idea into reality through 4,500 durability tests, with the hoisting speed reaching the world's leading level.

After nearly 20 years of development, Wuhan Lidi Hydraulic Equipment Co., Ltd. has grown from a small start-up to a leading enterprise in China's hydraulic hoist industry. It has continuously innovated and broken through in the field of hydraulic equipment, creating multiple records and filling international and domestic technical gaps, contributing to "Made in China" going global. Products are widely applied in nearly 100 super-large water conservancy and hydropower projects such as the Three Gorges, Xiluodu, and Xiangjiaba, as well as nearly 20 super-high-rise landmark buildings like Wuhan Center and Wuhan Yuexiu Tower. Hydraulic equipment has been exported to over 20 countries and regions including Ethiopia, Sudan, Vietnam, Laos, Fiji, and Pakistan, widely participating in water conservancy projects in "Belt and Road" countries. In 2009, it supplied the full-ship hydraulic system for CNOOC's 83-meter piling ship, achieving localization of the vessel's hydraulic system.In April 2019, it provided a full set of hydraulic equipment for the 500-ton thrust commercial aerospace solid rocket engine test platform independently developed by Wuhan Aerospace Sanjiang Group.
